As already known, we would like to briefly point out the changes in this year’s motorsport calendar:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Geopolitical tensions cause massive disruptions in international motorsport: Formula 1 cancels two Grands Prix at short notice, the WEC has to postpone its season opener. The racing calendar is shaken. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\n\n

Formula 1 draws consequences: Bahrain and Saudi Arabia canceled<\/h2>\n\n

Formula 1 is reacting to the tense security situation in the Middle East and is removing two races from the calendar. Both the Bahrain Grand Prix and the race in Saudi Arabia will not take place. <\/p>\n\n

No replacement is currently planned. For teams and fans, this means an unplanned break in the spring and a further thinned-out racing calendar. <\/p>\n\n

WEC affected: Qatar season opener postponed<\/h2>\n\n

The World Endurance Championship (WEC) has not been spared from the developments either. The planned start of the season in Qatar was postponed at short notice. <\/p>\n\n

The new season opener is now the race in Imola. The Qatar race will be held later in the year, subject to further developments in the situation. <\/p>\n\n
