This means that both competitions will reach their maximum capacity. <\/p>\n\n<p>The season opener will take place on April 11 and 12 at the Circuit Paul Ricard. Final preparations are already underway for a motorsport year that promises to be highly exciting both on and off the track.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ten manufacturers fight for victories<\/h3>\n\n<p>A total of ten renowned automotive brands are represented in 2026:<br\/>Aston Martin,<br\/>Audi,<br\/>BMW,<br\/>Chevrolet,<br\/>Ferrari,<br\/>Ford,<br\/>Lamborghini,<br\/>McLaren,<br\/>Mercedes-AMG and<br\/>Porsche.<\/p>\n\n<p>A special highlight in the racing calendar is the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa from June 25 to 28. An even larger starting field is expected for this traditional endurance race. In addition to top sporting performance, the focus will also be on a comprehensive event experience with a festival character.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Four classes provide excitement<\/h3>\n\n<p>The vehicles compete in four categories:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pro class<\/strong>: Professional riders compete in this class, often with direct support from the manufacturers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gold Cup<\/strong> and <strong>Silver Cup<\/strong>: These classes combine professional and semi-professional riders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bronze Cup<\/strong>: This category is based on the tried-and-tested Pro-Am principle and is very popular.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Numerous established teams have confirmed their participation for 2026, including former championship winners and successful participants in the 24 Hours of Spa. The field of drivers is also top-class internationally: professionals, talented youngsters and ambitious amateurs from more than 30 nations and six continents are on the entry list. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organizer is confident<\/h3>\n\n<p>St\u00e9phane Ratel, founder and CEO of the SRO Motorsports Group, emphasizes the special significance of the strong field of participants. The combination of quantity and quality is exceptional in international GT racing. In addition, the 2026 events will be further enhanced by an expanded supporting program and additional entertainment for spectators on site.
