At the season opener in Qatar on March 28, 2026, the team will once again be competing with two Peugeot 9X8s, each driven by internationally experienced driver trios. <\/p>\n\n<p>The Peugeot 9X8 with starting number <strong>#93<\/strong> will be driven by <strong>Nick Cassidy<\/strong>, <strong>Paul di Resta<\/strong> and <strong>Stoffel Vandoorne<\/strong>. Di Resta and Vandoorne have been part of Peugeot&#8217;s WEC line-up for several years and bring extensive experience from endurance racing. Cassidy completes the trio as a new addition to the manufacturer&#8217;s WEC program for the 2026 season.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Lo\u00efc Duval<\/strong>, <strong>Malthe Jakobsen<\/strong> and <strong>Th\u00e9o Pourchaire<\/strong> will compete in the sister car with starting number <strong>#94<\/strong>. Duval is one of the most experienced drivers in the field and has already won a world championship title in endurance racing. In addition, he &#8211; like Paul di Resta &#8211; has already completed 26 races for Peugeot. Jakobsen has been a permanent member of the driver line-up since 2025, while Pourchaire will contest his first full season in the FIA WEC in 2026.   <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Lo\u00efc Duval and Paul di Resta are central pillars of our program and will play a decisive role in the performance of both driver combinations,&#8221; explains <strong>Olivier Jansonnie<\/strong>, Technical Director of Peugeot Sport. &#8220;The two trios are balanced and bring together drivers with particular strengths in different phases of the race &#8211; from the start to qualifying.
