Ferrari will continue to rely on the services of James Calado<\/strong> in the future. The British racing driver, who has been part of the works driver squad from Maranello since 2014, will continue to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in the 499P hypercar<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Calado is one of the brand’s most successful drivers: his greatest successes include the overall victory at the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans<\/strong>, which he achieved together with his team-mates in the 499P. He has also celebrated several class victories at Le Mans in recent years. In total, the 36-year-old Brit has 27 victories and over 60 podium finishes<\/strong> in Ferrari racing cars to his name. <\/p>\n\n

“I am delighted to be able to continue my career with Ferrari,” said Calado. “We have experienced many special moments over the last few years and I am convinced that we can celebrate even more great successes together.” <\/p>\n\n

Ferrari’s Head of Sport Antonello Coletta<\/strong> emphasized the importance of the contract extension: “James has made a decisive contribution to our success over the past eleven years. It is a pleasure to work with a driver who embodies our values on and off the track.”<\/p>\n\n
